SA letter to push for Uber to come to Syracuse
The student association at New York’s Syracuse University is drafting a letter to be shared with the New York State Assembly and New York Senate requesting a law change that would legalize ride-sharing services like Uber. In the Daily Orange, the daily student newspaper at Syracuse, the students cite the research of Drs. Sunil Wattal and Brad Greenwood, Associate and Assistant Professors of MIS, respectively, who found that Uber reduced instances of drunk-driving-related homicides.
