At the Fox School of Business, Pablo Izurieta focuses on how climate change is transforming international business.  His research spans various aspects of international economics, including foreign direct investment (FDI), climate risk, and network analysis, integrating topics on environmental, behavioral, and development economics.  Before entering the PhD program, Pablo gained diverse experience in the financial services industry, working with small-cap companies, startups, and in corporate settings as an entrepreneur and consultant.  He holds a B.A. in Economics, Political Science, and Philosophy from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master’s degree in History from Harvard University.  Pablo is a published historian specializing in the economic history of Ecuador, as well as a composer.
