Michelle Dutton is the founder of MBD Associates, LLC, a national business strategy and consulting business providing services in business coaching and training. She leverages her experience as a senior leader in the corporate sector to develop strategies for entrepreneurs and executives climbing the ladder in non-traditional jobs. Prior to launching the firm, Michelle enjoyed a 30-year career with a Fortune 20 company, including more than 10 years as a senior leader. She served as vice president, Global Network Operations and Engineering, where she was responsible for business process development, product deployment and performance assurance for one of the world’s most advanced facilities-based networks. The 200+ systems supported Verizon’s global voice, data, video and IP networks. She held positions in operations, engineering, IT, capital management and marketing throughout her career where she developed and trained world-class teams to deliver results.

Michelle holds a BS in electrical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a MS in organizational dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania. She enjoys being active in her community and has served on numerous boards, including the National Academy Foundation, INROADS of Greater Baltimore-Washington, D.C. and the North Carolina A&T Advisory Board for the College of Arts and Science.
