A native of New Orleans, Louisiana and Bethune-Cookman University undergraduate, Jordan Thomas is a former professional baseball player and experienced sports business professional with a background working for organizations such as the NBA, MLB Players Association, & Texas Rangers. Jordan currently manages of Business Development for the Dallas Wings (WNBA).
In May, Jordan graduated with a masters in sports business and concentration in athletic administration from the School of Sports, Tourism, & Hospitality Management. While completing his masters, Jordan served as the graduate Co-Chair for the Fox School DEI Council and peer mentor for MSSB program.
He chose STHM due to the wide range of opportunities to work with program partners in the Philadelphia based professional sports organization and colleges & universities. Temple’s diversity of population and experiences spoke to his core values. Jordan serves on the Deans Graduate Student Advisory Council to be a change agent for marginalized students.
