Biography
Yiwei Chen is an associate professor in the Department of Statistics, Operations, and Data Science, and the director of the Master of Science in Business Analytics program. He received his PhD from MIT Sloan School of Management.
His research interests include dynamic optimization and machine learning with applications in operations management.
Chen has published papers in top tier journals, such as Management Science, Manufacturing & Service Operations Management, Mathematics of Operations Research, Operations Research, Production and Operations Management, and Transportation Research Part B: Methodological.
