Vincent Harris Lyons is a veteran translator of data. His research in labor economics, “Working Texas Style” and “An Atmosphere of Enterprise: Influences of a Small and Young Business on Texas Job Creation,” helped to shape the narrative of the Texas economy and demographics as being durable and robust. Local and national media outlets have used the research in these publications in talking about the Texas economy. In marketing analytics, he worked on numerous projects for his client Ford Motor Company from brand equity, feasibility studies on new product launches, and user experience. Currently, he is director of research and reporting and adjunct professor of computer information systems at Pace University. He earned a BA in Economics from Michigan State University and an MBA from the University of Detroit-Mercy. Vincent is a proud native Detroiter, husband and father.
