Partner Organization: UPLIFT

Nihar Patel has a bachelor's degree majoring in finance and a minor in theatre from Baruch College-CUNY and is currently working toward a specialized master's degree in financial analysis at Temple University. I have worked with three startup businesses over the last five years as a marketing head, financial analyst and financial advisor. Before moving to the United States, I worked with a local nonprofit in India supporting underprivileged children with the right to education by providing school materials, books, food and educational tools. Nihar is looking forward to working with UPLIFT this academic year and know more about the fundraising tactics used by nonprofit organizations. Fun fact: Nihar dreams of launching a nonprofit organization to improve the poverty issue globally.
