Biography
Dr. Neha Mittal (Ph.D.) is an Associate Professor of Instruction in the Department of Statistics, Operations, and Data Science (SODS) at Fox school of Business. She currently serves as the Strategic Outreach Director at Translational Research Center at Fox. She teaches courses in Operations Management/ Management Science, and Transportation and Logistics Management. Her research focuses on freight transportation and primarily deals with logistics planning, transportation sustainability, and network optimization. She is actively involved in business case writing and teaching and has published over a dozen case-studies with Ivey Publishing. At Temple University, she is the recipient of ‘Case-based Research Excellence’ award (November 2021), Fox Experiential Learning (Tier 2) Award (June 2021), ‘Excellence in Teaching’ Award (2013) and ‘Service Award’ (2014 and 2015) in recognition of her service in promoting the supply chain management program and student mentoring in the department. She has been recognized as the ‘Deans Teaching Fellow’ (from yr. 2014 – 2016, and then yr. 2016 – 2018) and has received the Crystal Apple award for it.
