Graduation Year: 2014 

Dr. Hong is the recipient of the AIS Early Career Award (2018). He is the director of the IS PhD program and co-director of the Digital Society Initiative at the W. P. Carey School of Business of Arizona State University. He is currently Senior Editor at the Production and Operations Management (POM), and Associate Editor at Information Systems Research (ISR), and the Journal of the Association for Information Systems (JAIS).

Research Interests: Dr. Hong’s research primary stream of research is the design and evaluation of the efficiency of digital platforms.  He also studies economic and behavioral issues in online labor markets.
