Don’t just take our word for it, hear directly from Fox students.
One opportunity I got through Fox is the federal re-entry program, where we volunteer at the federal courthouse in Old City and sit in on court sessions with people who are coming out of incarceration. It not only is a great opportunity for me to stand out, but also something that I really value.

For professional development opportunities outside of classes, faculty bring in guest speakers who tell us about themselves and how they reach their roles. Through that, we can network with them and network with people who work around them.

I'm involved in the Institute of Business and Information Technology, and I got chosen for the mentorship. My mentor is the chief information officer of Facebook. He’s helped shape my mind to understand that MIS and learning about technology is important.

Fox has taught me to jump out of my comfort zone. That's been huge for me in developing myself in my future career. I’ve been able to not only communicate with employers but learned to sell myself and build something on my own.

My experience at Fox has been one that is successful and inclusive. Not only have I had the chance to network with other students like me here, but I've also had the chance to have mentors from my professors and faculty advisors.

The professional development opportunities I've gotten through Fox are unparalleled. The biggest thing that Fox has done to help me stand out to employers is really embed professional development, both in our curriculum and in the opportunities that we're given.

Classes teach you a lot, but it's the people and the relationships that you have that teach you much more. That's what Fox is. It's the relationships you generate through friends and professors that are going to lead you to success in the future.

I am such a different person than who I was when I was a freshman. I was shy and I've been able to get involved in so much now. I'm the community service chair for the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA), which is also an accounting SPO. I've learned how to be a leader in all the skills that come with that.

I participated in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistant (VITA) program for three years. It was great because the program allowed me to get an idea of what taxation is like. I later went to interviews, and they were blown away with my general tax knowledge, and my ability to work with people and navigate the tax code.

Entrepreneurship gave me a set of tools to understand how to be my own boss. With opportunities like the Changemaker Challenge and Be Your Own Boss Bowl®, understanding these concepts and working with mentors and different students to see what their issues are or how I could apply my background to it. That's why I chose the major.

With the international business program, there's a broader scope of what you can do. With concentrations–whether it's marketing, supply chain, finance, risk management or anything like that–it gives you a chance to create your own destiny. That attracted me from the beginning.

I like the diverse faculty here, especially in the human resource and management department. It’s cool to hear different roles that professors have been in and a lot of people from different countries, all doing HR.

Understanding Financial Aid & Fly In Four
Temple University's Office of Student Financial Services readily assists all Temple students with the financial aid process. In addition to what scholarships you already received, you can explore more opportunities for scholarships at the University and at the Fox School of Business.
Fly in 4 is Temple’s innovative way of ensuring you complete your degree in four years—or sooner. One of the first of its kind in the U.S., the Fly in 4 program helps you stay on course academically and financially by offering you a clear four-year academic plan to get you to graduation on time. By graduating in four years, you’ll avoid the extra costs associated with taking additional semesters.
Ready to Fly
When you are ready to commit to the Fox School and Temple, make sure you follow your Next Steps and if you plan to live on campus, visit Temple’s housing site. While there is not an enrollment deposit deadline, the deadline for housing is May 1.
We know it takes a village. We encourage parents and families to visit our Parents & Families page specific to them and how they can stay informed and see how they can support their student.
We want to connect with you in person or online. Make sure to schedule a visit the Fox School soon or see us at an upcoming event.
