Chaya has an exceptional ability to encourage, motivate and inspire greatness in others, which leads to improved service delivery, efficiencies and greater community impact. Chaya started consulting in 2001, working with mission-based and for-profit organizations, and has 18 years of experience in leadership roles, including the establishment and significant growth of two nonprofit organizations. In 2008, her career took a turn in a new direction when her services were retained by the Brandywine Health Foundation to design and lead a community planning process that resulted in a new, innovative youth development initiative serving the greater Coatesville community. After creating this initiative, Chaya became the founding Executive Director of the Coatesville Youth Initiative from 2009-2019. During her tenure, she was responsible for the organization’s consistent achievement of its mission and financial objectives. Most notably, she utilized collective impact strategies to establish a new community-based organization designed to align resources, services and programs for youth; secured and administered multi-million dollar federal, state and county government grants to sustain 40 partnerships and collaborations, and managed more than 100 volunteers on three coalition boards. Chaya has a master’s degree in organizational leadership from Immaculata University and a bachelor’s degree in public relations from Temple.
